Crown Paper Group is a regional leader in the paper and containerboard industry, comprising four business divisions: Port Townsend Paper Company, Crown Corrugated Company, Boxmaster, Viking Way Plant and Industrial Products. With operations in the Pacific Northwest and Western Canada, the group includes an integrated containerboard mill, two converting facilities, and three distribution centers. Crown Paper Group specializes in manufacturing recycled and virgin kraft containerboard, kraft pulp, and specialty products, while its converting operations excel in customer engagement and distribution networks across British Columbia and Alberta.

Function & Scope: The Administrative Coordinator provides frontline support to the President of Crown Packaging as well as to the Senior Leadership Team. The Administrative Coordinator will assist with administrative tasks such as travel and hotel accommodations, event administration, digitizing files, meeting presentations, note taking, etc. If you’re looking to join a dynamic team in the manufacturing field we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

Administration:
• Travel & hotel booking as required for Senior Leadership Team
• Assist with event planning, booking, and being an active participant in events.
• Scan paper employees files and save to electronic files as well as HRIS.
• Assist with preparing presentation for leadership meetings in MS PowerPoint
• Coordinate meeting scheduling with calendars.
• Organizing and planning leadership team meetings and activities as required
• Responsible for note taking at leadership meetings as required.
• Organizing and ensuring supplies are on hand as needed as well as supplies areas tidy and organized.
• Prepare correspondence and communication as required.
• Ordering office supplies for Richmond offices
• Ordering lunches for meetings
• Other duties and support as requested by the Senior Leadership Team

Qualifications & Experience
• Completion of Administrative courses or certificate preferred.
• 1-2 years’ experience as an Administrative Coordinator
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication skills — written and verbal.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
