Crown Packaging’s Richmond facility is located on the bank of the Fraser River close to many of the fish and seafood processors in the lower mainland. In our early years the fish industry (salmon in particular) was our largest user of corrugated boxes and waxed boxes. Today, salmon is only a small part of an industry that processes many different species of fish including prawns, hake, pollock, herring, cod, sablefish and halibut. In addition, farmed products including shellfish and salmon have become new industries for corrugated products which were specifically designed to meet their requirements.
