Crown Packaging is an integrated manufacturer and marketer of corrugated cartons and sheets, printed paper wraps and wallboard tape. We have built a strong and loyal customer base by developing and nurturing strategic partnership style relationships.
We currently have an opening for a permanent, full-time Customer Service Supervisor to join our Customer Service team, based out of our location in Richmond, BC. This role reports directly to the Services Manager.

Position Summary:
This position is a middle management role and is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day task of the Services Department’s team members and will be relied upon to help us maintain our goal for excellent customer service. You are a passionate, confident and a resilient leader as well as an active listener and have a track record motivating people to be their best. You are pivotal in maintaining a productive work environment, fostering open communication and address issues promptly. You have positive energy and people like to work with you.

Job responsibilities for this position:
• Direct and supervise the work activities of the team members in order to provide prompt and efficient services to customers.
• Identifies and solves workflow problems with a clear focus on providing excellent customer service and maintaining effective business relationships.
• Ensures routine processes and procedures are adhered to regarding call taking and verification, Customers’ orders and concerns, operation and business needs.
• Collaborates with sales, operation, warehouse and services teams to ensure the daily workflow is smooth and efficient.
• Manages a high volume of accounts, while upholding an exceptional level of customer service.
• Establishes customer relationships and follows up with customers, as needed.
• Responds to customer requests, special instructions and inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
• Manages administrative duties such as: filing, data-entry, reporting, problem solving, prioritizing, and multi-tasking.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and requirements for this position:
• +10 years of customer service experience.
• +5 years of experience in an office setting for a manufacturing company.
• Proficient when using Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Superior problem-solving skills.
• Detail oriented and has the ability to multi-task.
• Able to work in a group as well as individually.
• Strong work ethic is dependable and reliable.
